Board of Stewards Elections
Three seats on the SporkDAO Board of Stewards are up for election this year.
If you care about the future of ETHDenver, community funding, and what we build next — this is your moment to participate.
Want to Run for the Board?
To be eligible, you must be a SporkDAO Member.
Membership happens through staking:
- Stake 1 $SPORK → Become a Member (1 $sSPORK)
- Stake 1,000 $SPORK → Eligible to self-nominate for the Board
Candidate Requirements
Nominees must:
- Hold at least 1,000 $sSPORK
- Have attended ETHDenver for at least one year
- Self-nominate (no third-party nominations)
- Provide basic candidate info for the community
Ensure their legal name + wallet match the membership record created when staking
Self-Nomination + Election Timeline
- Nominations Open: 2/3/2026
- Nominations Close: 2/18/2026
- Mandatory Meeting: Must attend ETHDenver in-person @ 02/19 @ 3PM to be on the ballot
- Voting (Snapshot): 2/19/2026 @ 11:59PM MT
- Voting Closed & Results Certified: 2/26/2026 @11:59PM MT
- New Stewards Join First Meeting: June 2026

Stake to Become a SporkDAO Member
Staking is how you officially join the cooperative DAO.
As an ETHDenver attendee or contributor, you received $SPORK in the wallet you provided during registration (on Polygon). You may already be staked — if so, Buffi thanks you 🙏
If you haven’t staked yet, now’s the time:

How Staking Works (Quick Steps)
- Visit app.ethdenver.com and choose “Stake your spork” this will connect your ETHDenver account wallet automatically. If you’d like to use your personal (EOA) wallet that holds $SPORK or $sSPORK, disconnect and connect to your wallet via WalletConnect.
- Enter how much you’d like to stake/ unstake
- Complete the required membership form if it is your first time.
(We are a Colorado Limited Cooperative Association — this is how you join the coop. We do not disclose member information unless legally required.) - Sign the transactions
- Once $sSPORK appears in your wallet, you’re officially a Member
Important:
You must stake through the official dApp to become a Member.
Direct contract staking does not complete membership enrollment.
